JETAASE 2015 Shinnenkai / Annual Planning Meeting

JETAASE 2015 ShinenkaiJETAASE invites JET alumni, friends, and families to attend the 2015 Shinnenkai / Annual Planning Meeting! At this annual event, we will discuss future goals, events, and plans for our Southeast chapter.

In a change from previous years, the 2015 Shinnenkai will be held on January 31st 2015 at 1:00 PM. The venue location is Nori Nori. See below for more details:

Each attendee will pay for the cost of his or her meal at the venue.

JETAASE will provide a small meal discount for members and award door prizes.

New Years is an especially spiritual time of the year for Japanese. In order to celebrate and share in the spirit of this event, we will hold a traditional Japanese New Year's Celebration, called a "Shin-nen-Kai" among the members of the Japan-related Organizations of the Triangle Area.

We plan to include elements of traditional customs and rituals that signify the Japanese New Year. Food will be served in a buffet style.

2014 JET Program Welcome Back Reception

Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta

Dear Friends:

It is my pleasure to invite you to a Welcome Back Reception and Networking Event for Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program participants who completed their contracts in 2014.

This event will take place at my residence, located at 265 Blackland Road, Atlanta, GA 30342-4048, at 6:00 pm on Friday, November 14, 2014. The keynote speaker will be Mr. Packy Bannevans, Group Leader at Mitsui Plastics, Inc. and a former JET Program participant. Representatives from Japanese recruiting firms based in Atlanta will also be available for networking and to provide job search guidance.
